When charged with a traffic offence or electing to take a traffic offence to court, it is a good idea to complete the Traffic Offenders Rehabilitation Course (TORP). This is a quick (1 day) education course which aims to educate people charged with traffic offences about the dangers of poor driving habits on the road including speeding, drink driving and drug driving offences. The course takes you through statistics of deaths on NSW roads and you also hear from people who have suffered from traumatic incidents due to dangerous driving habits. Once the course is completed, you are provided with a certificate which your lawyer will tender on your behalf at your court date.
